Situated on south west Scotland’s scenic coastline 1/2 mile south of Girvan and over-looked by the iconic landmark Ailsa Craig, Shallochmill is a small stud concentrating on breeding quality, registered miniature Shetland ponies.

With a background in riding and producing horses to county and national level showing and show jumping owner Susan Cook, supported by husband Stuart, has already won with her ponies at the major shows including the Royal Highland and the National Stallion show.

More recently the stud has taken a step away from the show ring to focus on breeding Shallochmill ponies which not only have the movement and conformation for showing but also the temperament to be super pets, fun or therapy ponies.
